"Very good value compared with other resorts. Buses to the theme parks were convenient. Having onsite food court for breakfasts & beverages was nice."

"We arrived at 2 p.m. or so to pre-register.At pecisely 3:05 p.m. we phoned for our room assignment. When we phoned we were put on hold for 10 full minutes, then told our room was not ready, and that we should call back after 4 p.m. I expressed ourn situation (about our 2 year old son) and asked that they please simply place us elsewhere as my son would likely lose patience before 4 p.m. After another almost 30 minutes I was instucted to proceed to the lobby where the guset services would re-issue a room key for the new room number. After receiving the room key, it was past 4 p.m. We proceeded back to building #6, unloaded all our items, and my son with the stroller, and proceeded to our room where we were met by another guest who's luggage was already in the room, and a bellman named Kevin. Kevin by the way was exceptional in his attempt to resolve our situation, in fact, he too was met with difficulty over the phone by guest services.Anyway, upon our arrival to the newly assigned room, Kevin was in the process of moving the luggage out of our room as the guest waiting had refused the room. The room refusal was due to an overwhelming smoke oder in a non-smoking room. While I realize Disney cannot control the actions of it's guest at all times, I also am aware that housekeeping should have advised the front desk of the problematic situation prior to re-assigning the room. Moreover, the front desk knew the present customer was rejecting the room for the aformentioned reason, but as quickly as he rejected it, the front dest re-assigned it. To add insult to injury, a manager arrived (who's name I did not get, but had sandy blonde hair, and in her late 30's to early 40's) stated she would go find a computer, whatever that means, and get us both new room assignments. While we waited patiently, the manage never returned and more then 30 minutes had passed. Kevin on the other hand stayed with the issue, secured us a new room, moved our luggage, and had a runner bring us new keys. I even tried to tip Kevin for his efforts, but he flatly refused! My point is simple and clear. In all our dealings both over the phone, and in person at the front desk, everyone with the exception of Kevin had an "i don't know what to tell you" attitude, or made a false promise they didn't follow through with. Honestly, we were only minutes away from simply leaving and disputing the charges as the room was already paid for. Basically, by the time we secured our room it was after 5:30 p.m., and we the had to put all our items in the room. By this time it was too late. As a result, we opted to go to the Magic Kindom on the 4th. needless to say, the crowd was unbelievable, and the tempature oppressive. We also have to check-out prior to our departure, purchase a cooler and fill it with ice so our cosmetics did not melt in the heat of the vehicle, spend a long hot day at the park, and then drive home for two hours. To state the least, this was not at all what we had in mind!"

"I was very upset that there is not enough communication about transportation and our bed linens were not changed, I would love to come back but i'm a little upset about the whole experience with my children we usually come down to the All Star Music every 2 years, we came this year because of Sea World doing a show to Honor our Troops and my brother happens to be over in Iraq, so I was disapointed. Thank you Eileen P. Stephenson"

"I think you should have a shuttle or golf cart to help get visitors to the bus stops. Have a coffee pot in the rooms and also don't charge for a refrigerator. They don't work that good."

"The only issue was that the air conditioner didn't seem to work properly. We had it on 68 and it was just okay...never seemed to cool completely as it should have."

"Room was very clean and perfectly adequate . . . pretty much what I expected. The amenities were disappointing. Food situation was poor and long, long walk to get around. Would recommend to someone looking for inexpensive accomodations but tell them what to expect."

"This is the only way to go when visiting Orlando. Convenient transportation to and from the park. No hassles with parking! Great pool at the hotel. The only regret we have is that we didn't get the souvenier cup. We didn't realize that it was one cost and free refills until we saw the sign at the elevator on the last day there."

Susan from Clifton Park, NY US stayed on April 15, 2005

"The stay was horrible! We arrived at 11am the person checking us in, spend over 20 minutes and managed to do nothing correct or give us a key card. We then went to the Customer Service Desk, where we purchased day tickets to The Magic Kingdom, she had to re-do the entire reservation, due to the fact the first woman had everything wrong. She was pleasant, but also annoyed. We finally received a card key and number to call to check in later. The room was below average, with paper thin walls, we heard the children next door, playing jacks, crying, the people in the shower and using their blowdryers until 1:30 am. We did not have enough towels in the room, no blow dryer, no cofee maker. It was definately not worth the money. It was a lower class hotel than even the Super 8 which we had to stay in on our trip home. The bus trip was a bit dangerous, too many people on the bus, I would hate to have been in a accident, we would have been crushed. I would definately not recommend this hotel!"

"We were looking forward to a refrigerator in our room and found it outside on the balcony. (must have been broken) We just hauled ice up to have a cold soda. We already recommended the hotel to neighbors to my folks in Ft Myers and they promptly called and made reservations. Thank you for offering affordable accomodations!"

"I would recommend the hotel but only if you don't have to deal with anyone in customer service - Check in was great - We just happened to lose a watch in Calypso 1544 and no one will return a call or even be plesent on the phone to try and track down my lost item. This hotels customer service sucks - Every other Disney hotel/attraction I have stayed in has been excellent. I shouldn't have to settle for sub par service just because this time I'm not at the Swan or Dolphin. I could have gotten much better service at a Marriot any day of the week."

Michael from Columbia, MD US stayed on February 08, 2005

"Rooms were extremely small and not noise proof. Storage space for clothing was extremely limited. We were NOT able to take advantage of the pool area because of extremely LOUD vulgar rap music which was full of obscene language and profanity which was being played by four unaccompanied pre-teen and teenage girls on a boombox. We were forced to leave the pool area rather than to be subjected to this disgusting display of profanity. It should also be brought to your attention that there were several families with young children who also left. The girs were politely asked to lower the music and they mouthed off at several adults with loud profanity. We addressed this issue with the lifeguard and she advised that she could not do anything and that we should contact customer service. Recommendation: ADD the following to your list of pool rules: NO LOUD MUSIC PLAYING ALLOWED IN POOL AREA. Extremely long lines waiting for food in the food court and the food was not good and very expensive - overall, this was not an enjoyable experience and we would definitely NOT return to any of the Disney all stars resorts. We were actually happy to leave and that is very sad."

Brandt from Boca Raton, FL US stayed on January 30, 2005

"The hotel room was ok, nothing special. The bathroom recieved only a cursory cleaning. There was some sort of green paste dried all over the shower, cleaner....toothpaste? There was also alot of dirt and hair in the corners of the bathroom. Not exactly the standard you'd expect from Disney, but everything else was pretty much up to snuff. The rooms where no thrills, but the property looked nice and certainly was convenient to go into the Disney parks with thier free shuttle transportation. 1-10...I'd give it a 6.5"

"it was good because of the transportation to the these parks. the view was poor, the room was dark and old, not so clean. the hub was too far from the room. we will definatly not go back to that resort. if all of the all star resorts (shouldnt even be called resort - should be called motel) are the same - we would rather stay off the disney property. sorry.. but, i am telling you like we felt./ audra dewalters"

"there were not enough staff at check in to handle all the customers that were trying to check in. also, my room was so far toward to the back of the hotel and no one offered to help me or i was not given a choice that help was even available at a price to carry my baggage. this is the only reason that i might chose not to stay at this hotel. my children would truley enjoy the pool area and the arcade, but i would be hesitant to choose this hotel."

"The room smelled strongly of cigarettes...we are non smokers and it really distrubed us through out our stay. I also noticed there wasn't a coffee maker or conditioner to wash our hair. These are some suggestions i would love to be worked on so i can recommend this place to others and go there again to spend my Disney Vacation stay there."

"For $99 a night, we were really expecting to find a coffee pot in the room. And it would have been quite a walk to find some coffee to start our day. It was strange that there was an ironing board and iron, but no coffee pot and no hairdryer. The room was clean and pleasantly decorated, but it could have provided a few more amenities to make our stay more appealing."
