"The food and options at the Fort Wilderness site was just average. there's really no sense of special service to anyone. it's feels a bit too mass oriented. not really 1-1 oriented."

"The Camp grounds were great. Everyone seemed pleasant. The camp store was understaffed during the morning rush. Had a long line to check out.
Side note, We bought the Disney Meal plan. Worked great however wished more, or all food vendors were on the list. would have been easier. We couldn't use all the food opportunites, would have been nice to combine or use as a discount for gifts or other items.
Also, the transportation was nice. We did have some problems with getting between resorts and other venues espically late at night. A very nice secruity guard took us to our camp ground one late night because we would have had to go clear back to the transportation hub to get a bus. She saved the day for us. ( Comtempory Hotel to Wilderness Campground). I'd say a map explaning the various modes of transportation and how to get between everywhere would have been helpful. Maybe there was such a piece of information but we didn't seem to have it. The bus drivers had to answer alot of questions as to how to get various of places. Would be most helpful during the check in process some how."

"We were welcomed as the Wilderness Trail Special family. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for our family. The children had a blast. We didn't get to bike, but would have enjoyed that. Two of our family of five had to leave the Hoop de doo review because of illness, but the three who stayed had fun."

"Would like to comment on the "frustrating at time" above in regards to the customer service. This is in reference to the Crockett Tavern. I entered at 9:50 on Saturday evening (they close at 10p) and was ignored by 3 different waiters. I was standing at the entrance where it says "Please wait here to be seated." I was there by myself only to order 2 milkshakes "to go." (so I didn't plan on staying well into the 10 o'clock hour sitting in the dining room.) At 10pm, I was finally asked by a very nice young brown-haired waitress (sorry, didn't get her name, but should have, because she was extremely nice to me and tried her best to convince the bartender to make the shakes) if I would be dining in or carry out. I told her I just wanted to order 2 shakes to go and the bartender very rudely said, "tell her, we're closed!!" She didn't want to tell me that, so she said, "let me try the bar upstairs" in her best efforts to accomodate me. However, she sadly returned with the same news (and I overheard the upstairs bartender yell at her with "we're closed! all of the stuff has been cleaned!" She looked at her watch and said to me, "I'm so sorry, but they are unwilling to make one. I know you were here well before the 10 o'clock hour. It is only 10:01. I wish there was something I could do." I was very disappointed to know that Disney World hires such inconsiderate people, as I have never encoutered this type of cust service, ever before. There were still dozens of patrons eating in the dining area."

"The trading posts could have had a little more in the food department. Being without a vehicle made getting food a problem.
Need to make purple line a little more user friendly. To get to some areas you have to go to the very end of the line and transefer to the orange and yellow bus lines. This can be a hassel.
All in all every thing was quite nice"

"great multiple family deal ( sleeps four adults though a litle tight) Terrible for people with strollers - bus system requires breaking down the stroller with each ride, and it is impossible to get around without the bus system"

"The cabin was in immaculate condition. It was also extremely quiet so that we could all get a great nice of sleep after an exhausting day at the Magic Kingdom. Transportation within the resort took longer than I expected. To get the best usage out of the cabin, I recommend it for families with small children that may be staying at WDW awhile."

"The bus system within Fort Wilderness was unsatisfactory.
"Yellow" buses would replace "Purple" ones without notice, with us waiting and waiting for a "Purple" one. There would be two "Orange" buses and two "Yellow" buses before we'd see a "Purple" one. We waited over a half hour several times for a bus to take us to the bus stops serving attractions.
Disney advocates frequently for the environment. We spent a LOT of time around loud, smelly diesel buses. The ones passing our cabin woke us. It would be a great boost for cleaner and quieter technology if Disney were to use electric or natural gas or hydrogen powered buses within their park."

"The cleaning staff went above and beyond by not only cleaning our cabin well but making the towels into animal shapes which we and our daughter enjoyed. The cabin was great...the only problem was that the door on the vanity of the bathroom fell off when we opened it. We also appreciated having the pack-n-play in the cabin with a fitted sheet. There is so much to do at the camp, we left feeling as if we still had a lot to enjoy. Thank you."
